In his previous role as Group Strategy and Transformation Director at SSE and during his time in several other senior positions within the Group, Colin has led the way as a proven leader of high growth, rapidly transforming businesses. Before SSE Colin worked for firms including Ernst & Young and Arthur Anderson.

    Operations Director

    As Operations Director for SSE Enterprise Telecoms, Dave is responsible for the smooth running of the company’s business and customer operations, particularly as the company extends its service offering specifically aimed at UK enterprises. Prior to joining SSE Enterprise Telecoms, Dave had a number of senior roles in the telecoms sector, including working at Radianz, Nortel Networks and 186k. Most recently, Dave was the Director of Business Operations at Virgin Media Business.

  • Ian Taylor

    Business Development Director

    Ian joins us as Business Development Director, responsible for all business development, sales and marketing activity. He has extensive experience within the telecoms sector with BT and Cable & Wireless, and in a variety of senior commercial roles with Siemens. Ian sees SSE Enterprise Telecoms as having a good balance of scale and agility, with the energy and mentality of a start-up. He is looking forward to the challenge of leading the next stage in the company’s planned growth, and building on the existing reputation as the telecoms provider of choice. Ian’s vision for the future of SSE Enterprise Telecoms is a company that is consistently recognised for the quality and value of its services.

    Commercial Director

    John Chester joins the team after a twenty year senior commercial career in a number of private equity and PLC businesses. He is tasked with ensuring that SSE Enterprise Telecoms continues to build on its reputation of service excellence, securing our position as the networking provider of choice. John’s key vision over the coming years is to drive SSE Enterprise Telecoms’ exploration of new and innovative routes to expand reach, services and its customer base to continue to grow sustainably in a highly competitive market.

  • Paul Clark

    Director of Service Delivery

    As Director of Service Delivery, Paul is responsible for mainstream projects, provisioning and service delivery activities, as well as managing a new major projects team solely accountable for complex customer projects and network roll outs. Paul joins us following a 16 year tenure at Virgin Media during which he led a number of management centres and field and project management teams, and brings a wealth of knowledge with him to help support and drive growth with a people-first approach.

  • Conrad Mallon

    Chief Network Architect

    With over 30 years’ experience in the telecoms industry, Conrad brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as Chief Network Architect having previously held several senior roles at Level 3, which included overseeing many large-scale network enhancements and significantly expanding their European network reach. In his current role, Conrad will be responsible for defining, delivering and maintaining the technical architectures that will support our existing portfolio, as well as new ground-breaking technologies. He is determined to see the innovative, appropriate application of advanced technology both maintain and improve those relationships with our customers as the business grows.

    Sector Director for Public Sector and Transport

    Appointed as Sector Director of Public Sector and Transport, Mike is responsible for guiding and developing our strategic partnerships within these sectors to enable the Public Sector and the Transport sector to achieve their vision of becoming market leaders by investing in their digital capability. Mike’s extensive experience and success across a variety of senior roles during a 30 year career within telecommunications will be invaluable.
