Did you know that we can manage large Ethernet tail circuit estates on your behalf? One of the most effective ways of doing this, while reducing costs, is through network aggregation, also known as circuit aggregation.
In a network aggregator, we combine clusters of circuits – close in geographic proximity to one another – and plug them into our own Points of Presence (PoPs). Not only does this allow you to access our competitive pricing, it will also reduce tail circuit distances (where we have a PoP closer to your customers’ sites). This will, in turn, reduce last mile costs in favour of lower cost backhaul charges.
For service providers, we offer two approaches to network aggregation:
- Aggregation of customer circuits into your own equipment, co-located in our PoPs and then backhauled to your nearest interconnect point(s)
- Aggregation of customer circuits into our equipment in our nearest PoPs, then backhauled to your nearest interconnect point(s)
If you’re unsure of the best approach for your customer base, we can help you decide by providing examples of the potential cost savings that can be achieved through network aggregation of your customers’ circuits.
